Happy 5th to Pooky & Me!

Here we are at Aberdeen's World Famous Hot Dog House celebrating a day early our 5th anniversary of Pooky-Pip togetherness! (Aberdeen's other claim to fame includes being the birthplace of my dad and where the band Nirvana calls "home".) There isn't much to the town so all we did was drive an hour to eat a delicious burger and for me, a hot dog as well.
We stumbled upon the hot dog house on an adventure we took to the coast. The rest is culinary history. Since then we've gone back to enjoy ourselves. We can get stuffed for under $15!

Much like your quest for the perfect burger, Mike has one for the perfect hot dog. After watching the PBS special "The Hot Dog Show", he found out one of the places listed was enroute to his family's in MA. In any event, we stop at "Superdog" every trip and are never disappointed.
Now for your burger quest, I had two last week that would knock your socks off. One was at our local diner: Fresh Kaiser roll, American cheese, fresh burger and a hard fried egg-absolutely delish I say. Australian burger.
Next burger, at a local landmark, Mickey and Minnies-a Roesch burger (family name) with fresh sauteed mushrooms and melted crumbled blue cheese over a fresh medium cooked sirloin burger. I thought I died and went to heaven. I am not a blue cheese fan, but this was wicked good.
Tomorrow nights dinner, Boars Head Hotdogs, with chili, cheese and mustard on grilled buns. Can you tell Mike is cooking???
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Happy! Congratulations!
