Thirteen More Favorite Tim-isms

Here are 13 more favorite Tim-isms that I've gleaned from my notes! I've yet to go back to my first year notes and review for pearls of wisdom, so when I get around to that I'll have even more to share!

  1. Ride the saddle of chaos, ambiguity, and uncertainty.
  2. Don’t be held hostage by methods. Transcendent the methodology.
  3. Name 3 ways you create hell for your partner.
  4. Most people are held hostage by others. Who holds the keys to your life?
  5. Anticipatory stress inoculation
  6. We can only learn from those we love.
  7. Parenting is 51% being crazy and 49% being rational.
  8. Addiction or an affair is a sign that an adult is hungry for play.
  9. Comfort the agitated and agitate the comfortable.
  10. Truth decay is one of the problems of integrity.
  11. I have 80% confidence in what I'm about to say. You have to decide which percentage you want to buy: the 80% or the 20%.
  12. Don't be afraid to pull out a cigarette and enjoy a smoke while chaos is going on all around you.
  13. How's your spirit today?
