It is with great fanfare, pomp and circumstance that The Hall of Shrones is now open!

Since 2005 Shrones found in blogdom have been named and bestowed with an official button declaring they are a Bona Fide Shrone. Each Shrone is recognized as having 10 Salient Characteristics of Shronedom. As of February 8, 2006, there are 31 Shrones!

Upon being named a Shrone eventually each new Shrone receives an official Shrone Card and Welcoming Gift. The hope is that someday the First Annual Convention of Shrones will convene in the town of Shrone, Ireland. Here we will all gather wearing turbans, hats festooned and adorned with fake birds, flowers, feathers, and possibly penises.
